EMILY JARRETT is a native of Salisbury, Maryland. She began her dance training at Footsteps Dance Academy and Salisbury Dance Academy, studying ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and Irish step. During this time, she performed with the Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Elena Manakhova-Amy. She attended the summer program at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for four years, later returning for two more as a residence staff member.

Emily continued her education at Mercyhurst University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in both Dance and Criminal Justice. She performed with The Mercyhurst Dancers as well as the Mercyhurst Liturgical Dance Ensemble as a student. In addition, she was an active member of the Mercyhurst chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and received scholarships for both dance and academic achievement, making the Dean’s List each year.

Emily has previously performed with the Lake Erie Ballet, Virginia National Ballet, and Asaph Dance Ensemble in both soloist and corps roles. Her choreography has also been featured in the Asaph Dance Ensemble's Reflections to Revival. In her spare time, Emily competes at regional feiseanna (Irish dance competitions). She is currently in her third season as a Company Artist with Ballet Embody in Westminster, Maryland.
